By using media.tatarverse you agree to the terms below. There is no “I accept” button on the site: if something here does not suit you, simply do not use it.

What this service is

media.tatarverse is an open, non-commercial catalog of projects about the Tatar, Bashkir and Crimean Tatar languages and cultures: authors, channels, media outlets, language platforms, lessons and graphics. We do not create or own these projects - we only collect links and short descriptions in one place.

The catalog is not an official representative of any listed project unless the card says so explicitly.

How you may use the site

You are free to browse the catalog, follow links, share them and reuse the catalog data under the license below.

You may not:

  • download the site automatically in a way that creates excessive load (we do not chase occasional, reasonable scraping - but the data sits as files in the repository, which is easier);
  • attempt to disrupt the site;
  • submit, through the form or a pull request, projects whose content is illegal, spam or misleading.

Submitting and editing cards

You can add a project through the form or a pull request in the repository. By sending a submission or a PR you confirm that you are entitled to share that text and agree to publish it under the catalog’s license.

A submission from the form becomes a public issue in the repository - see the “Privacy Policy” for details.

We are not obliged to publish every submission: a card may be rejected or rewritten - for instance if the description reads as advertising, the facts cannot be verified, or the project is off-topic for the catalog.

  • Card texts (src/data/ in the repository) - CC BY 4.0: reuse and adapt with attribution.
  • Project logos, names and trademarks - belong to their owners and are not covered by the catalog’s license. See the “Sources” page.
